Great Family Tourism Forum Launches New Website to Engage Young Influencers in Promoting Cambodian Tourism

Phnom Penh, November 4, 2024 – The Great Family Tourism Forum has launched a new website designed to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and young social media influencers, guided by Prime Minister Hun Manet.

In a ceremony held on Monday morning, Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, presided over a discussion with influencer groups aimed at fostering collaboration between the Ministry and social media platforms. The meeting focused on two primary objectives: engaging with social media influencers to gather new ideas, challenges, and suggestions, and advancing the campaign titled "Each One a Cambodian Tourism Promoter," alongside the slogan "Together for Tourism, Tourism for Tourism." The event saw participation from leaders, officials from the Ministry of Tourism, and 130 social media influencers.

During the event, Minister Huot Hak expressed gratitude for the efforts of the young influencers who have actively contributed to promoting Cambodia’s tourism. He encouraged them to continue creating engaging content and participating in the Ministry’s campaigns, which aim to showcase the rich cultural heritage, culinary delights, and handmade souvenirs of Cambodia. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of portraying the harmonious lifestyle and the warm smiles of the Cambodian people in their content.

The new website serves as a platform for collaboration and communication between the Ministry of Tourism and influencers, providing resources and updates about tourism initiatives and opportunities for promotional campaigns. By harnessing the power of social media, the Ministry aims to enhance the visibility of Cambodia as a prime travel destination while engaging younger audiences in the country's tourism narrative.
